The Lochcarron MacDonald Dress Weathered Lambswool Blanket is a muted tartan with a white, forest and sage green base and red and brown overchecks. A wonderful version of the MacDonald trants. and will look beautifu in your home.
This tartan descended from Donald, grandson of Somerled of the Isles, and is the oldest and more famous of all Scottish Clans. The Lords of the Isles held sway over large territories and ruled as independent princes. They supported Bruce in his struggle for Independence, but their claim to the Earldom of Ross brought them into conflict with the Crown.
