Platinum Jubilee is a grey and white based tartan with a purple and black overcheck. This is the fourth commemorative tartan in the Holyrood series that we have designed. This design is a recognition of the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. The original sett of the Holyrood, as designed in 1977 by Mr Alistair Buchan, has been re-coloured to include purple and platinum in celebration of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II through several Jubilee years.
