Description
We have over 250 Clan crests available in our range, so this badge is sure to be a treasured keepsake for years to come.
The clan crest is taken from the chief's full coat of arms, the crest being the part on the helmet above the shield. Placing the crest within the strap-and-buckle motif is a way of marking clanship in Scotland, taking its lead from the heraldry surrounding old chivalric belts.
The cap badge is traditionally worn on the Glengarry or Balmoral bonnet on the left hand side, on top of the rosette. However these also make excellent brooches or badges for any occasion.
Size 5cm by 6cm / 2" by 2,5". Sent in a presentation box. Made from hard-wearing, 100% lead-free pewter.
